What to Include in a Heat Exchanger RFQ
Prepare component scope, duty, drawing, quantity and acceptance criteria for a heat exchanger RFQ. Attach drawings when sending your email.
Selection Guides
Define the component
State the product type, its role in the system and the working fluids. Include a circuit sketch when the scope is unclear. Distinguish a complete exchanger from an accessory or a tube/header component.
Provide operating conditions
Include duty, entering conditions, intended outlet conditions and flow. For air-side equipment, provide airflow and available fan pressure. Include humidity for wet-coil duties and specify difficult operating cases.
Supply the drawing and purchase requirements
Show dimensions, ports, mounting, interfaces and tolerances. State sample quantity, anticipated order quantity and delivery destination. Identify mandatory material and inspection requirements.
Agree the response and acceptance
Ask the supplier to identify the proposed component, performance basis, exceptions and information still needed. Agree sample acceptance and documentation before ordering. Attach drawings to your email; the website enquiry tool prepares the text, not a server-side upload.
Enquiry checklist
